AND CONGRATULATE OUR NAIVASHA NEIGHBOURS WILDFIRE FC.
In yesterdays final pre-season friendly before our league season starts, we played a draw against MURUNGARU FC
We started the game with the following line-up:-
Starting 11; Colo, Kaluu, Iriga, Victor, Jonah, Nyamweya, Rooney, Steve, Gathogo, Izoh and Mutuguti.
Bench; Roba, Zaire, Alex, Steve Kante, Shitii and new keeper Frankie.
In the 1st half both teams cancelled each other out, in a very tough midfield battle and it ended 0-0
We made 4 changes at half time to give all our players some game time, and started the 2nd half with the following changes:-
PJere, Roba, Achachi, and Dickens on for Steve, Victor, Colo and Rooney
With 10 mins remaining MURUNGARU were awarded a penalty, which they converted to lead 0-1. But 5 mins later JONAH equalised, and the game ended 1-1
GET WELL TO THE LEGENDARY PELE.

ALL THE LATEST NEWS FROM THE PAST WEEK, INCLUDING RESULTS, LEAGUE FIXTURES AND MUCH MORE.
We start with our pre-season friendly game last Saturday 26th November against MARINE FC, a Kenyan forces team, who are very big, physically strong, and extremely fit.
Before kick-off both teams agreed to play 1hr each half, to give both teams the opportunity to give all squad players game time.
In the 1st half our starting line up consisted of:-
Marley, Izo, Roba, Victor, Jere, Majja, Tonny, Rooney, Kante, Alex, Mutuguti
Sub, Jose, Collo, Kaluu, Iriga, Oliver, Josam, Achachi, Gathogo.
MARINE FC opened the scoring in the 19th min, but we had a great opportunity to draw level in the 45th min when we were awarded a penalty, but IZOH stepped up and missed, but with 6mins remaining in the 1hr 1st half our new signing ROBERT got on the end of some great build up play to beautifully slot home, so it ended 1-1 at half-time.
In the 2nd half we began with the following line-up;-
Josam, Jose, Kante, Gathogo, Iriga, Kaluu and Collo comes on for Rooney, Mutuguti, Oliver, Jere, Roba and Marley
We also made many changes during the course of the 2nd half, as we began to over-run MARINE FC and we were blessed with 2 unbelievable goals.
Firstly Capt Jose picked up the ball, beat 2 defenders and curled a beauty into the top corner to give us a 2-1 lead.
Then a touch of brilliance from GATHOGO after he picked up the ball in the centre circle, looked up to see their keeper at the edge of his box, and let fly with his right foot straight into the net without bouncing, to leave the keeper stranded, and sealed a 3-1 victory.
Then on Sunday 27th November we travelled to our Naivasha rivals WILDFIRE FC for a big pre-season derby.
We started this game with the following line up:-
Collo, Victor, Iriga, Kaluu, Izo, Josh, Nyamweya, Jonah, Gathogo, Kante and Jose.
Sub;
Roba, Rooney, Alex, Antony, Steve, Oliver, Mejja, Shitii, Cliff and Josam.
In a very hard fought 1st half, both teams were giving their all with local pride at stake, but it ended 0-0
In the 2nd half we started with this line-up:-
Rooney, Josam, Shitii, Mejja, Antony, comes on for Jonah, Gathogo, Victor, Joshua, Kante and once again made many rolling subs in the half.
The 2nd half carried on like the 1st half with strong tackles from both teams, but in the 72nd minute WILDFIRE FC took the lead.
This seemed to spur our lads even more, and in the 80th min and beautiful cross by KALUU, saw IZOH ghost in to head home, and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
TOMORROW
SUNDAY DEC. 4TH we take on MURUNGARU FC in our final pre-season friendly before our league opener

Venue: The Eco Logic Partners Ltd. STADIUMOFLIGHT (karai sec)
OUR LEAGUE SEASON BEGINS NEXT WEEKEND AS WE MAKE THE LONG JOURNEY TO BUNGOMA SUPERSTARS.
Also this week our manager, coaches and Capt Jose have been registering our final squad for this season which we shall name in the coming week.
But we are all confident it is much better than last season, with 9 new additions to our squad.

Some 2 weeks ago our UK President Gary Lamb was invited by Mr. Bernard Borsberry of Newton Aycliffe Youth FC to visit their club and collect a "MOUNTAIN " of donated kit, and 2nd hand balls.

Sunderland AFC Keroche cruise to victory in todays Naivasha derby, pre-season friendly.
Final score:
BIGOT FC 0-3 SUNDERLAND AFC KEROCHE
Today the lads travelled to Naivasha prison grounds to face BIGOT FC in a pre-season friendly.
Our line up today was
Marley keeper, Gathogo, Izo, Iriga, Jerry, Kapolo, Nyamweya, Jonah, Mutuguti, Alex and Jose.
Bench, Timo and Achachi- former Bigot goal keeper.
CAPT JOSE opened the scoring in the 25th min
Half time 0-1
In the 2nd half GATHOGO got a brace on 75mins, and 85 mins to make the final score 0-3.
When you consider some 5 yrs ago BIGOT FC were most likely a better team than us, it shows how far our club have come, and we now play 2 divisions higher than BIGOT FC.
UPDATE ON THE UPCOMING 2022-23 SEASON.
After the confusion of last seasons top 3 divisions initially been classed as null and void, with no promotions or relegation, KONA RANGERS from our division, took this case to court after winning our league.
They won their case to be promoted to the National Super League and now all teams who finished last season in the promotion and relegation spots, will now be promoted and relegated.
This means that our Naivasha neighbours Vegpro FC will now join us in National division 1, and we shall have a huge Naivasha derby League game, in the upcoming season., which due to the new court ruling has been slightly delayed as fixtures must now be re-arranged.
We have been told that the new fixtures shall be released very shortly.
