SUNDERLAND AFC KEROCHE 1-2 BONDO UTD

It’s fair to say that BONDO UTD (a team riding high in the league) dominated the first half, with a very strong wind behind them. They took the lead in the 11th minute, as their very fast strikers broke clear to score. 0-1.

Only 2 fantastic saves form our keeper COLLO kept them at bay until the 34minute, when they broke clear again, and a scuffed cross led to a goalmouth scramble, where one of their strikers got the final touch to lead 0-2.

At half time, a rousing team talk and knowing we had the strong winds on our backs, and the game totally changed round, as we were the team dominating the game.

In the 58th minute, great build up play found CAPT JOSE in the box, and he fired home from 12yds, to reduce the arrears (1-2)

Our boys were now firing on all cylinders and were peppering their goal, but a combination of great saves by their keeper, and some near misses, it seemed it would not be our day.

But in the 87th minute we were awarded a penalty, after a clear handband by a Bondo defender.

Up stepped PHILO (Who has never previously missed a penalty) but his shot hit the bar and went over for a goal-kick.

After this, the game became very fiesty, as Bondo tried every trick in the book to time waste and fein injury.The game finally ended after 9 mins of added time.

In the final mins a number of players from both sides received yellow cards, as tempers boiled over, and MUTUGUTI received a red card.

Congratulations to BONDO UTD, they are a very good team, who really don’t need to resort to their timewasting tactics to win games.

So we go back to the training ground, and keep working hard to improve our mid-table position.

Next weekend, we make another long journey to LUANDA VILLA, who currently sit in position 2 in the league.

There are no easy games in this league.
