Sunderland AFC Keroche
vs
ST Josephs Youth

Recap
FULL TIME
SUNDERLAND AFC KEROCHE 2-2 ST. JOSEPH’S FC.
ST. JOSEPHS started the stronger, but as the half wore on our boys grew into the game, with no team seriously threatening the goal until the 34th min when good build up play saw ST. JOSEPHS take the lead.
But that spurred our lads into action, a chance by CAPT JOSE went just wide, a great save by their keeper denied MUTUGUTI, as we piled on the pressure, which was finally rewarded when MUTUGUTI scored the equaliser in the 40th min.
After that we had another 2 chances, to take the lead.
So we ended the first half all square, but we will have the strong winds on our backs in the 2nd half.
Half-Time 1-1.
In the 2nd half it was once again a tough midfield battle, with both teams looking for openings, but in the 8oth min a corner for ST. JOSEPHS was met cleanly at the back post, to head them into a 2-1 lead.
Our heads could have dropped, but our lads immediately went in search of an equaliser, and we had to wait until the 90th min, when we got a free-kick out on the far right, and JONAHS kick found it’s way through a crowded area into the back of the net.
FULL-TIME 2-2.
So that’s 5 consecutive draws, next Saturday we make another long journey to Kakamega to play against the very strong GREEN COMMANDOS FC.
