It’s so hard to find words, on how we lost this game today, when St. Joseph’s only managed 1 shot on target all game, which was a few kick in the 6th minute.

The ball floated into the box, caught the wind and somehow found it’s way, into the top back corner of the net.

After that, we had 3 glorious chances to score and go ahead, Jaro had a goal disallowed and their keeper made some great saves.

Half-time 0-1

In the 2nd half it was more of the same until the 79th minute when a ball came into our box, our keeper collected it, then tripped up and as his elbow hit the ground, it came from his grasp, for a nearby St Joseph’s player to tap home from less than 1mtr.

Someone once said “Football is a funny old game” and today was certainly a day like that.

But at the end of the day, St Joseph’s won the game, and we congratulate them.

We must pick ourselves up immediately, for our long Journey to Bungoma Superstars on Wednesday.
