The highly awaited DERBY got underway today, with both teams wanting the bragging rights.

In the 1st half it was a 50-50 game, but VEGPRO certainly came with a physical game, with some nasty tackles on our lads, resulting a couple of yellow cards.

Both teams had a few first half chances, but nothing to seriously trouble either keeper.

In the second half VEGPRO continued their physical game and on 56mins the VEGPRO coach got a yellow card after abusely disputing a referees decision, but he continued his abuse to the Referee and eventually received a red card, and was ordered to leave the ground.

Our lads were now getting a foothold in the game, and in the 76min we won a 50-50 midfield tackle and put a through ball to CAPT JOSE who found JARO with a pinpoint pass, and JARO smashed the ball home, to leave the VEGPRO keeper in disbelief

1-0.

In the final 14 mins we comfortably controlled the game, and JARO almost doubled our lead, except for a blinding save from their keeper.

Full-time 1-0.

This victory secures our position in division 1 for another season, as we are now 4 points ahead of BONDO UTD, and 7 points ahead of GDC FC with only 1 game of the season remains.

It also seals the fate of GDC after they could only draw 1-1 today, at home to BUNGOMA SUPERSTARS.
