Today we made yet another long journey, to the very impressive Kericho Green Stadium, to face former Kenyan Premier League team ZOO FC.

To those who are not aware ZOO FC were demoted 2 leagues from the KPL, after been found guilty of match fixing, and many of their players were suspended.

But todays game still showed their Premier League quality.

Even though the scoreline looks like a big defeat, our lads still put up a great performance, especially in the 2nd half.

In the 1st half we were outclassed by a very fast and formidable team, who showed their KPL credentials scoring 3 goals in the 16th, 32nd and 43rd mind

At half time coach Kapolo made some tactical changes, and by the end of the game, it was hard to see which team were the former KPL side.

ZOO FC did extend their lead to 4-0 in the 63rd minute, but it would be fair to say that was actually against the run of play, as our lads continued to grow into the game.

We finally got rewarded in the 79th min, after some great forward play, when a cross by JARO was headed into the path of NYEMWEYA by CAPT JOSE to reduce the arrears.

It won’t be a surprise to anyone if ZOO FC make a quick promotion to the Super league, because they really are a top quality team.

But our lads can be very proud of that 2nd half display.

Next weekend we make yet another very long journey, to the home of NYALENDA FC (that will be 3 away games on the trot)
