Today the lads took on promotion contenders GREEN COMMANDOS, and put up a fantastic display, against one of the best teams in our league.

We opened up the scoring in the 2nd minute, with a beautiful goal from JONAH.

During the remainder of the 1st half we were very comfortable and held GREEN COMMANDOS at bay

Half-time 1-0.

In the second half GREEN COMMANDOS equalised in the 54th minute after DICKENS slipped when closing down one of their strikers. (1-1)

BUT in the 65th minute CAPT JOSE restored our lead, with a penalty, after a handball in the area. (2-1)

We held out comfortably until the 86th minute when GREEN COMMANDOS scored from a free-kick (2-2)

Then heartbreak in the 90th minute when GREEN COMMANDOS scored the winning goal (2-3)

The lads should take great heart from this display, as they matched one of the leagues best teams.
