This weekend all our premier league teams recieved their vaccination jabs, so that the Kenyan Premier League can resume ASAP.
Hopefully it won't be to long, before the Ministry of sports get the vaccinations to our league, so that we can resume our games.
WORD OF ADVICE TO ALL OUR PLAYERS, STAFF AND FANS.
Do NOT be tempted to recieve a vaccination jab, from any other source other than certified government vaccination centres, there are lots of con men about offering so called "Covid19 vaccination jabs"
Please stick to the following rules:-
1, If anyone is offering you a vaccination jab, at any cost, THEN IT IS A CON.
2, All goverment approved vaccinations are "FREE".
3, If offered a vaccination jab, through the official government channels, then we strongly advise you to take it so we can rid our country of this deadly desease.
4, Our brothers and Sisters in the UK, are world leaders in rolling out the vaccines, and have now become one of the safest countries on this planet, regarding the virus.
5, Our UK friends have proved beyond any doubt that vaccinations are the best way to overcome the Covid19 virus. The proof is in the numbers. Before vaccinations the UK were losing 1,300 people each day to the virus, now it is well below 100, and constantly dropping on a daily basis.
Here is a picture of one of our Kenyan Premier League players recieving his vaccination this weekend, and also recieving his certificate of proof of vaccination, which will allow him to resume training and play in games.
All of our own players and technical staff IE. coaches, Doctor, Photographer, etc. will require the same proof, to be able to resume duties at the pitch.

LATEST NEWS FROM THE GOVERNMENT AND THE FKF (Football Kenya Federation)
Regarding the vaccination of football teams and staff, so that sports can resume ASAP.
Dear CEO’s,
The Federation has been engaging the Ministry of Sports in a bid to have the League allowed to resume.
Among our requests was to have the Ministry organize for the vaccination of the players, technical bench officials, and the match officials as we plan for a safe return to footballing activities.
We wish to inform you that the Ministry has granted our request and has planned to roll out the vaccination exercise beginning this Saturday, 10th April 2021.
Teams from Nairobi and its environs shall be vaccinated at a central place to be communicated within the shortest time possible once we receive confirmation from the Ministry on the time and place for the exercise. A similar exercise shall be organized for the teams outside Nairobi to have their players and officials vaccinated at their respective Counties.
We shall in due course share with the vaccination schedule (indicating the timings) for each team as soon as we get the finer details from the Ministry.
We hereby advise that we all have our team members ready for the exercise on Saturday and also wish to request that the teams show up for the vaccination dressed in official team attire (tracksuits) for easy identification. Thanks. ... See MoreSee Less
TODAY WE WOULD ONCE AGAIN LIKE TO SAY A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE "FOUNDATION OF LIGHT" AT SUNDERLAND AFC IN THE UK.
A couple of weeks ago our UK president Gary Lamb received a call from Ian Dipper at the FOUNDATION of LIGHT to pick up another huge donation of kits, mainly tracksuits.
After receiving pictures or our 1st team proudly wearing previously donated tracksuits from the FOUNDATION of LIGHT, more have now been donated.
These tracksuits are currently on their way to Kenya, and will be distributed to our senior academy, as soon as the current Covid restrictions are lifted.
The pictures show the new mountain of donated kits, plus pictures of our 1st team in their matchday tracksuits.
Thank you once again to the FOUNDATION of LIGHT. ... See MoreSee Less

Our government are looking at measures to resume football and other sports ASAP
*Possible resumption of FKF leagues:*
Football Kenya Federation President Nick Mwendwa has revealed that talks are on between the football governing body and the government for resumption of football activities in the country.
FKF was last week forced to suspend all it’s leagues following a directive by president Uhuru Kenyatta that suspended all sporting activities to help curb the spread of Coronavirus.
According to Mwendwa, the government has agreed to open consultations on the best way to resume football activities while adhering to all the placed Covid-19 protocols placed by the Ministry of health.
“We have already talked to the Sports Ministry, and they are keen to implement a few things, they have asked us to write to them on what we intend to do to make sure Covid-19 does not spread and we will respond to them by the latest on Wednesday,” said Mwendwa as quoted by Goal.
Mwendwa also revealed that with the World Cup in sight, the federation is keen on having the league resume as soon as possible as this will enable players to be match fit ahead of the crucial qualifiers.
“We have also explained to the Cabinet Secretary of Sports the effects that will come with the league not being played especially when it comes to the national team since we have the World Cup qualifying matches starting in June and we want the team to be ready” he said.
“What I can say, CS Amina is very willing to allow us to resume the league if we follow the laid down Covid-19 regulations, and in my opinion, we must have our league going at the shortest time possible, we will write to her, and we hope she will give us a positive response” he added.
*The Jab*
With the ongoing vaccination across the country, Mwendwa also made it clear that all players in the FKFPL plus all the officials will get the jab.
“The Sports Ministry is also keen to have all the players and officials vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine, and after we finish the exercise, then the league will resume.

TODAY WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK WALDRIDGE JUNIORS FC, AND THEIR KIT MANAGER TONY COLE, WHO DROPPED OFF A "MOUNTAIN" OF KIT.
WALDRIDGE Juniors FC have around 20 junior teams, (who play in the Chester-Le-Street area of the UK) and after seeing an earlier post on our page, where we gave away 2 of their previously donated kits, their Kit manager Tony Cole got in touch with our UK president Gary Lamb
Tony dropped off numerous items, to the home of our UK vice president John Eilbeck, many of which our own club can use, such as balls (approx 30 of them) plus cones, keepers gloves etc. He also dropped off numerous old kits, which we shall donate to other clubs in our region.
We thank Tony and Waldridge Juniors FC from the bottom of our hearts.
