After the heartbreak of last weekends last minute defeat against Green Commandos S.C the lads knew how well they had played, and took that confidence into today’s game.

We took control from the opening minutes and pressurised MOFA, when they had the ball.

In the 29th minute this paid off when we got a free-kick 25mtrs from goal.

With our free-kick specialist GATHOGO on the bench today, PHILO took control and blasted a beauty past their wall and keeper to put us 1-0 up.

We had a couple of other chances in the first half but were unable to convert them due to saves from their keeper and shots just off target.

At half-time MOFA made a number of changes, but the determination of our lads meant we stayed in control, except for 1 instance when COLLO pulled of a magnificent save from a rare MOFA attack.

MOFA used all their subs to try to get a foothold, but we held on comfortably to earn victory.

Today’s man of the match was awarded to JONAH, but it seriously could have been awarded to any player, as they were all fantastic.

Next Sunday 16th we face our Naivasha rivals Vegpro FC in the big Derby game.
