The final league table of the season
After a really tough season in the national division 1, we finally secured our place for next season, on the final day.
In this league, our club covers more miles to games than any other club, due to our location, as 90% of the teams are based in the far reaches of Western Kenya, with only 2 other teams within 3hrs of Naivasha.
Setting off to away games at 2 or 3am, to make the long journeys, then play the game and travel back to Naivasha is, as you can imagine extremely tiring, but our finances restrict us from travelling the previous day, then staying overnight, having said that we also do it for the love of our famous red and white shirt.
At the end of the day we escaped relegation, and now we can regroup and discuss numerous things between the coaches, manager and captain, as to where we need to improve for next season.
May we say a huge THANK YOU to all our sponsors, and our fans your support during this difficult season, because without our sponsors, our club would not exist.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL. ... See MoreSee Less

WE ARE STAYING UP,
SAY
WE ARE STAYING UP.
FT: KISUMU HOTSTARS 0-2 SUNDERLAND AFC KEROCHE (W/O)
In the early hrs of this morning we set off on our long journey to Kisumu, to face already relegated KISUMU HOTSTARS FC.
During the course of the season HOTSTARS have repeatedly failed to produce players registration cards at their fixtures (Which is a league requirement)
So to clear up any confusion the federation sent a template to all clubs of the KISUMU HOTSTARS players who were legally registered.
At the pre-match check ups today, KISUMU HOTSTARS failed to produce the players who were on the FKF template as registered players, and attempted to field other players (Ringers)
The Match com, and match officials were then left in no other position, than to award a 2-0 walkover victory to our lads.
If you could have seen the celebrations and the smiles on our players faces, it would have lit up the universe.
No we can re-group and go again next season, as this has been a very tough season, and we have learned many lessons, that we can correct for next season. (which we are told could kick-off within 2 months)
So, what started out as such a hard season could possibly end in glory, as we now have have 3 tournaments to contest, starting tomorrow when we face WILDFIRE FC in the 1/4 finals of the LOGONOT FAIR TRADE TOURNAMENT.
We never realised how sweet the feeling is to avoid relegation on the final game of the season, because for the previous 9yrs,we have only experienced success.
NOW WATCH THE BLACK PANTHERS ROAR IN THE UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS. ... See MoreSee Less

A HUGE WEEKEND COMING UP FOR OUR CLUB
SUNDAY IS THE FINAL LEAGUE GAME OF THE DIVISION 1 SEASON, AND WE LEAVE IN THE EARLY HRS OF SUNDAY MORNING TO TRAVEL TO KISUMU HOTSTARS, AS WE WANT TO ARRIVE EARLY (around 8am) TO HAVE SOME TRAINING ON THEIR PITCH, AS IT'S THE ONLY ARTIFICIAL GRASS PITCH IN THE LEAGUE.
IF WE COME HOME WITH AT LEAST A DRAW, THEN WE WILL AVOID RELEGATION.
THIS HAS BEEN A REALLY TOUGH SEASON FOR THE LADS, AS WE HAVE BEEN COMPETING AGAINST SOME LARGE COMPANY FUNDED TEAMS, BUT WE HAVE BEEN DETERMINED TO SHOW THAT WE CAN COMPETE WITH THEM IN THE NATIONAL LEAGUES. LETS HOPE WE ARE CELEBRATING AFTER THE GAME ON SUNDAY, BECAUSE IT WILL BE A HUGE ACHIEVEMENT.
THEN ON MONDAY WE PLAY AGAINST WILDFIRE FC IN THE 1/4 FINALS OF THE LOGONOT FAIR TRADE TOURNAMENT.
THEN ON AUG 7TH WE COMPETE IN THE BIG CHURCH TOURNAMENT, WHICH IS A 1 DAY TOURNAMENT AND TO WIN IT, COULD MEAN 3 GAMES IN 1 DAY.
WE ARE ALSO ENTERED INTO MADAM JAYNE KIHARA'S TOURNAMENT WHICH STARTS IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO ALL YOUR MESSAGES OF GOOD LUCK AND ENCOURAGEMENT.

Today's result in Division 1.
Sunderland AFC Keroche 1-0 Kamungei Utd.
Probably our best performance of the season in a game that we dominated from start to finish.
JARO scored the only goal of the game in the 11th min.
So on Sunday in our final game of the season, we need 1pt to escape relegation.
We are on equal points with Bungoma SUPERSTARS, but the have a better goal difference. But Bungoma SUPERSTARS have now played all their games.
This coming Sunday we travel to KISUMU HOTSTARS in our final game of the season.
